Since 1992, Hiljay Homes has proudly served the Puget Sound area’s aging community. As a Nurse-Led Adult Family Home, we are deeply committed to providing expert, compassionate care for your loved one.
Located in Shoreline, WA - our home features both private and semi-private rooms, thoughtfully designed for comfort, privacy and accessibility. Residents enjoy our spacious outdoor living areas which are perfect for fresh air, relaxation and connection with nature.

Smaller, More Intimate Setting
Adult family homes have 8 or fewer residents. This provides an opportunity for
residents to form closer relationships with providers, caregivers, and other residents.
Higher Staff to Resident Ratio & Quicker Response Times
More one-on-one attention with ratio of 1:6, 2:6, or 2:8 depending on home. Care needs
are addressed immediately, there are no long waits for assistance.
True Home-Like Environment
Adult Family Homes are in residential neighborhoods; they provide a cozy, familiar
atmosphere that allows for less anxiety and a smaller environment to navigate.
Consistent Staffing
Lower staff turnover means residents benefit from consistent care, familiar faces, and

Offering straightforward pricing that includes both rent and care. Some also allow
residents to spend down to Medicaid when private funds are exhausted.
